Justice minister: Croatia has to open judiciary policy chapter on June 30..

Justice minister Ivan Simonovic said that the country has to open the policy chapter on judiciary and fundamental rights on June 30 in order to be able to finalise its negotiations for the EU membership by February 2011 at the latest. He stressed that it was important for the country to sign the accession treaty with the EU by the summer of 2011. This week the Slovene government at its session adopted a positive position Croatia's EU negotiation areas.
