Italian, US businesses plan to invest in Albanian energy sector.

US and Italian companies have expressed interests in investing in Albanian energy projects, the Albanian government said in a statement. The foreign investors discussed the business opportunities in a meeting with Albanian PM Sali Bersiha and presented projects in the field of energy efficiency. We note that Albania has managed to attract a number of foreign investments in the local energy sector in the recent years. The government has given the renewable energy generation a top priority status in the context of further economic reforms.
