Italian investor to build EUR 68mn solar plant in Slovakia.

The company Bovinex Europa was planned to build a new solar power plant in the city of Lucenec in the southern part of the country, documents, submitted for environmental impact assessment, showed. Generating capacity of the plant would be 990,000kW of electricity annually. It should be built on an area of 220,000 sqm and would consist of 16,000 photovoltaic cells. Total investment cost for the project was estimated at EUR 68mn. Bovinex Europa is owned by a private person from Italy and was established in 2005.
