Hyundais Czech plant returns to profit in Jan-Sep 2010.

The Czech plant of South Korean car producer Hyundai reported a net profit of CZK 1.55bn (EUR 64mn) in the first nine months of 2010, after a loss of CZK 1.35bn a year earlier, Radio Prague reported. The company produced higher-than-expected 200,135 cars at its Nosovice plant in northern Moravia in 2010, by 70% more than in the previous year. The Nosovice plant is operated by Hyundais Czech unit Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech(HMMC). The company now employs 2,600 people and plans to increase their number to 3,600 after it introduces a third shift in the second half of this year.
