The government's new public employment programme with a budget of HUF 64bn will provide jobs for 220,000 Hungarians annually, MTI news agency reported, quoting a statement of the economy ministry. The new employment will be mostly in the area of industry. The unemployed, who are offered jobs, but refuse to take them, will be deprived of social benefits.
