Greek Isomat completes EUR 8mn investment in Serbia.

Greek building materials maker Isomat has completed the construction of an EUR 8mn production facility in Simanovci near Belgrade, Beta news agency reported. The factory currently employs 32 workers and will employ 8 more, the CEO of Isomat's Serbian unit, Spyridon Vlachos, said. The factory has the capacity to produce 200 tons of powdered and 50 tons of liquid building materials per day. Isomat eyes sales of EUR 3.5mn in 2011 and plans to boost them to EUR 6mn next year. Founded in 1980, Isomat manufactures building chemicals and pre-mixed mortars. It produces waterproof materials, concrete and mortar additives, tile adhesives, grouts, repairing materials and plants, premixed plasters, industrial floors etc. The company exports to Russia, Ukraine, Cyprus, Turkey, Kosovo, FYROM, Sweden, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Moldova, Saudi Arabia, Montenegro, Syria, Israel, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Georgia and Malta.
