Former Croatian PM Sanader arrested in Austria pending extradition.

Former PM Ivo Sanader was held in custody in Austria pending extradition in a corruption investigation, news agency HINA reported. The arrest follows the issuing of an arrest warrant by Croatia's prosecution. Sanader left the country several hours before the parliament stripped him of immunity from prosecution. The Salzburg prosecution announced that proceedings for Sanader's extradition are under way.
