Seasonally adjusted volume of Poland's retail trade rose by 0.8% m/m, and was up by 6.7% on the year in August, the EU's stats office Eurostat has reported. In the whole EU, the retail sales index decreased by 0.4% m/m and increased by 0.6% y/y. Poland's stats office GUS earlier said that retail sales fell by 1.6% m/m and was up by 6.6% in annual terms.
