Ethnic Croat, Bosniak parties in coalition talks.

By bne IntelliNews December 14, 2010
The major ethnic Croat party, HDZ BiH, and the third major Bosniak party, SBB, held talks to discuss potential coalition alliance and participation in the new ruling majority, Fena news agency reported. The two parties have identical or fairly balanced position on the most issues, HDZ BiH leader Dragan Covic said. We note that the state parliament has not managed to elect a speaker two months after the Oct 3 general elections. Twelve parties entered the 42-seated assembly, which requests a broad coalition to be established for securing parliamentary majority. HDZ BiH has 4 representatives in the assembly, while SBB has 3 MPs.
