The market capitalization of equities traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose by 2.45% m/m to MKD 116.28bn (EUR 1.89bn) at end-October, after dropping by 2.47% m/m a month earlier, according to data published by MSE. On the other hand, the market capitalization of debt instruments dropped by 10.86% m/m to MKD 12.28bn at the end of last month. The equity indices MBI10 and MBID moved in opposite directions in October: MBI10 rose by 2.5%, while MBID decreased by 3.52%. The MSE's turnover shrank by 2.81% m/m to MKD 258.7mn last month while the number of transactions increased by 5.43% m/m to 2,077. Foreign investors participated in 42.69% of the total turnover as buyers and in 57.23% of the total turnover as sellers. |
