EE: Sportland among top tax debtors in Estonia.

Sports gear retailer Sportland has been added to the list of largest tax debtors, with tax arrears of EUR 0.7mn as of beginning of March. In 2010 the company recorded net loss of EUR 1.0mn, while in 2009 the companys loss stood at EUR 2.7mn. 2011 profit figures of Sportland are yet undisclosed. Tax and customs board indicated that 100 biggest tax debtors owed the state total of EUR 94.1mn, down by EUR 0.5mn m/m. Elcoteq Network, one of the biggest tax debtors, which debt stood at EUR 0.5mn in February, has declared bankruptcy in October and is removed from the list. Total of 44,049 companies and individuals had tax debts in the beginning of March, with total debt standing at EUR 380.3mn.
