EBRD may finance project to link Bosnia and Croatias gas networks.

The EBRD is interested in financing a project for linking the gas supply systems in Bosnia and Croatia , gas operator BH Gas announced in a statement. The company informed about the talks with EBRD representatives which took place on Thursday (Jan 28). BH Gas is to prepare the project documentation for the construction of gas pipeline between Bosanski Brod and Zenica, which would be connected to the gas supply network in Croatia . The company notes that talks on the project and the necessary loan would continue during the year. Moreover, the company informs that the international financial institution expressed readiness to finance the construction of a gas supply system in the western Una-Sana Canton. We remind that the two sides already agreed on a EUR 17mn loan for the gasification of four municipalities in Central Bosnia Canton.
