Czech import prices rise, export prices fall in June 2011.

Czech import prices in June 2011 rose at their weakest annual rate in the last 14 months, while export prices fell for a second month in a row, the statistics office said. Import prices increased by 0.4% in June, following a 2.1% rise in the previous month. The growth was driven by a 15.4% increase in prices of mineral fuels, lubricants and related products. Export prices decreased by 1.4% y/y after a 0.1% fall in May. The decline was mainly due to a 6.3% drop in the prices of machinery and transport equipment. In monthly terms, Czech import prices decreased by 0.5% in June, following a 1% rise in May. Export prices fell by 0.3% m/m, after they moved up by 0.6% in the previous month.
