Czech Energo-Pro buys gas power plant in Georgia for USD 45mn.

Czech energy company Energo-Pro has acquired a gas power plant in the Georgian capital Tbilisi for USD 45mn (some CZK 848.6mn), CTK reported. The plant has an installed output of 110MW and is in operation as of 2006. Energo-Pro owns 15 hydroelectric power plants and two electricity distributors in Georgia. The company is also present in Bulgaria and Turkey.
