Czech car output hits all-time high of 1.1mn units in 2010.

The production of passenger cars in the country grew by 9.5% y/y to 1.072mn units in 2010, CTK newswire reported citing data from the Automotive Industry Association (SAP). The number of produced cars surpassed the 1mn level for the first time. The countrys major car manufacturer Skoda Auto accounted for 53% of the total output. TPCA ranked second with a 28% share, followed by Hyundai with 19%. The production growth was supported by a reviving European car markets.
