Czech-Bosnian consortium to construct Mahovljani interchange.

Representatives of consortium of Bosnian builder Niskogradnja and local OHL ZS signed a contract with representatives of the government of Republika Srpska (RS) and RS public company RS Motorways (RSM) an agreement on the construction of Mahovljani interchange within the highway Banja Luka Gradiska. The Czech-Bosnian consortium should build the interchange within the next 20 months. The project is worth EUR 11.5mn (CZK 298.6mn). The required funds for its implementation were secured through a EUR 21mn credit agreement with the EBRD, while the European Commission granted EUR 5mn. The construction of the interchange will allow for the completion of the construction of the Banja LukaGradiska motorway, which links Banja Luka with the international transport corridor X.
