Croatian firm Tehnix launches construction of EUR 2mn plant in Macedonia.

Croatian company Tehnix has started the construction of a plant in a new industrial zone in Skopjes municipality Suto Orizari, state news agency MIA reported. The facility will manufacture equipment for waste recycling and waste water treatment. The investment in the plant is EUR 2mn. Construction is expected to be completed in five months. At the beginning, 50 new jobs will be created. The produced equipment will be intended for the markets of Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Greece and Bulgaria. Tehnix is a leading company in the SEE region in the fields of design, manufacturing and servicing of machines and equipment for environmental protection. The firm has operations in Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Hungary and Bosnia.
