Croatian Dioki bids for Vinyls Italia plants.

Petrochemical group Dioki submitted bids for the Vinyls Italia PVC plants in Ravenna and Porto Torres, Banka Magazine reported. The deadline for submitting bids expired on October 22, 2010. Dioki plans to invest in production equipment to guarantee the delivery of 200,000 tonnes of raw material for the production of PVC. In 2009, Dioki produced 178,000 tonnes and generated revenues of about EUR 224.3mn. The company expects its output to reach 222,000 tonnes and its revenues - EUR 300mn in 2010. Dioki's loss widened by 44.1% y/y to HRK 90.23mn (EUR 12.5mn) in H1.
