Croatia's retail sales up 1% y/y in Sept 2011.

Croatia's retail sales increased by a real 1% y/y in September 2011, following a 2% y/y rise a month earlier, the statistics office said. In nominal terms, retail sales advanced 4% y/y, after rising 5% y/y in August. On a monthly basis, the retail trade was down by a real 11.9% m/m and a nominal 10.9% m/m in September. Retail trade, except for the trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles, went down by 11% m/m in nominal terms and by 12% m/m in real terms in September.
