Croatia inaugurates EUR 15.7mn cogeneration plant.

Croatia's PM Jadranka Kosor opened an HRK 117mn (EUR 15.7mn) cogeneration plant, which will generate electricity and useful heat for wood processor Strizivojna Hrast, near Djakovo, news agency HINA reported. She stressed that such projects were very important for the country in order to grow stronger in economic terms. The company employs 344 workers and exports about a million square metres of hardwood floors a year.
