Bosnias parliament fails to convene again due to lack of quorum.

The lower chamber of Bosnian parliament, the House of Representatives, failed once again to convene due to lack of quorum, Fena news agency reported. Representatives from the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats( SNSD), the Serb Democratic Party (SDS), Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) and HDZ 1990 were absent from yesterdays session. The parliaments inaugural session on November 30 was interrupted as the coalition talks were still under way and postponed for December 22. Representatives from all parliamentary presented parties should meet on Jan 11 to set a date to continue the inaugural session. We note that 12 political parties are presented in the 42-seat assembly. The hardline nationalist Union of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) from the Serb Republic and the Social Democratic Party (SDP) from the Muslim-Croat Federation gained most seats in the October 3 vote.
