Bosnias indirect taxation authority collects 0.9% higher revenue in Jan-May.

By bne IntelliNews June 5, 2012
Bosnias Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) collected a gross revenue of BAM 2.27bn (EUR 1.2bn) in the first five months of 2012, up by BAM 20mn on the year, daily Oslobodjenje reported. In May alone, the revenue rose by BAM 11mn on the year to BAM 502mn. The revenue increase in annual terms was also observed in April, March and January, while in February collections shrank due to the severe weather conditions, which disrupted transport and businesses across the country. UIO allocated BAM 283mn of the Jan-May revenue for financing Bosnias central level institutions and distributed the remainder to the Muslim-Croat Federation (BAM 1.22bn), the Serb Republic (BAM 545mn) and the Brcko district (BAM 57mn).
