Bosnian c-bank foreign reserves edge up 0.1% m/m at end-July.

By bne IntelliNews September 11, 2012
The gross foreign reserves managed by Bosnias central edged up 0.1% on the month to BAM 5.891bn (EUR 3bn) at the end of July, the bank said in a statement. The gross foreign reserves increased by a monthly 2.76% at the end of June. The increase in July was mainly supported by a 12% monthly jump in investment in foreign securities, which climbed to BAM 3bn. This was, however, compensated to a great extent by the 10.2% monthly drop in deposits with nonresident banks to BAM 2.66bn at end-July. Furthermore, the gross foreign reserves dropped by an annual 4% at end-July after shrinking 3.36% a month earlier. The net foreign reserves moved up 0.1% on the month and fell 4% on the year to BAM 5.889bn at end-July.
