Bosnia's CPI up by 3.9% y/y in July 2011.

Bosnia's CPI increased by 3.9% y/y in July, accelerating from 3.8% y/y in June, according to data of the country's statistics office. CPI inflation stood at 3.7% y/y in Jan-Jul.In July alone, annual price growth accelerated in the following groups: alcoholic beverages and tobacco; housing; transport; recreation and culture; and restaurants and hotels. In addition, the y/y drop of prices in the group health narrowed last month. On the other hand, annual growth of consumer prices decelerated in the groups food and non-alcoholic beverages. Also, the y/y decreases in prices widened in the groups clothing and footwear, as well as other goods and services. The annual price dynamics remained unchanged in the groups furnishings, communication, and education.
