By bne IntelliNews February 9, 2010
The liberalized visa regime with Turkey has entered in force on February 4, Turkish embassy in Tirana informed. The cabinet approved the agreement last August. It enables Albanians to visit the Mediterranean country for up to 90 days within a six-month period, while the EUR 10 entry fee will no longer be paid at the border crossing points. The same rule will be valid for Turkish visitors in Albania . The ease of the visa regime is expected to contribute for the intensification of tourist services and business cooperation between Albania and Turkey .
