Volkswagen may take decision on production in Turkey this year.

Local daily Sabah reported that German carmaker Volkswagen may take a decision on production in Turkey this year. Delegations from the ministry of trade and the investment support and promotion agency visited Germany and had talks with German executives, briefing them on the business environment in Turkey. Reportedly, executives from Volkswagen said that the company planned passenger car and commercial vehicle production in Turkey. Government officials told Sabah that a delegation from the German carmaker would visit Turkey for further talks in the coming months.
