US calls on Albanian political parties to cooperate on reforms.

The US Assistant Secretary of State Philip Gordon said Albanian political parties should cooperate on the implementation of further reforms on the countrys EU path, ATA news agency reported citing the Voice of America. Gordon also stressed on the importance of holding free, fair and transparent elections in 2013, the same message given by the US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, during her visit to Albania earlier this month. Albanian lawmakers were urged to adopt reforms in justice and administration, while the government should step up fight against corruption, Gordon added.
