In regional elections held on March 13 ruling party United Russia took 69% of the seats, winning 375 mandates (out of 546) in 12 regional governments. However, as compared to the previous elections in October 2009, when most regional parliaments were almost singlehandedly controlled by United Russia, now in all of the regions there are at least three parties elected. Only in four regions United Russia gained more than 50% of the votes. Opposition party Just Russia is elected to all regional parliaments, while Communist Party and Liberal Democrats got elected in 11 out of 12 regions. Communists came second after United Russia in 7 regions. Analysts note that 's's'sPutin's'ss factor's's's is no longer boosting United Russia performance, with PM's'ss Vladimir Putin pre-election tour in the regions not being able to influence weaker UR performance.
