Ukraine to sell duty-free pipes to Russia.

Ukraine has arranged the duty-free quota on supply of 150,000 tonnes of steel pipes to Russia in August-December, Kommersant-Ukraine reported, citing EconMin Petro Poroshenko. Ukrainian pipe makers Interpipe (NITR) and Centravis will be allowed to export without any levies, according to the newspaper. Other Ukrainian steel-pipe makers pay a duty of between 19.4% to 37.8%, Kommersant reported. In January, Ukraine arranged the quota on duty-free supplies of oil- and gas-supply pipes and hot finished pipes, diameter up to 820mm, as well as oil-well tubing and casing pipes to Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan in 2012.
