Ukraine implementing EBRD's five investment projects.

As of June 2010, Ukraine had five investment projects in their active phase of implementation under government guarantees supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with loan amount worth USD 182mn and EUR 51.8mn. Additionally, there are two projects co-funded by the EBRD and the European Investment Bank (EIB) at EUR 700mn, according to the Ministry of Economy. There are also EBRD's five projects at the state of preparation worth EUR 1,085bn (co-funding with EIB makes EUR 995mn). The implementation of a program to improve nuclear safety in Ukraine is at the initiation stage, and the estimated amount of loans of the EBRD and Euratom makes EUR 1,048bn. Over the years of cooperation, the total amount of resources provided by the EBRD is EUR 5bn for the implementation of 197 projects.
