Ukraine holds local elections.

Ukraine held local elections, as well as election of the members of the Supreme Criminal Council on Sunday, October 31. The elections are held in all regions of the country, except for Kyiv and Ternopil, where the local elections havea lready taken place. The election commissions are scheduled to announce the voting results no later than five days after the elections, i.e. by November 5. According to the exit poll, carried out by GfK Ukraine at the request of the Yedynyi Tsentr Party, 36.2% of the voters supported the Party of Regions in the local elections. The members of the regional councils in Ukraine are being elected under the proportional election system. The All-Ukrainian Union Batkivschyna party got 13.1% of the votes, the Front for Change - 6.8%, the Communist Party - 5.9%, the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda Party - 5.1%, the Strong Ukraine - 4.3% and the Yedynyi Tsentr - 1.6%. A total of 7.2% of the poll participants supported none of the parties. The maximum statistics error for the poll's leader is 2.5%, and for the others - 1%. The survey was conducted in 560 polling stations throughout Ukraine.
