UK to form EUR 100mn fund for investment in Macedonia and region.

The UK will launch an agricultural and an investment fund of a combined amount of EUR 100mn, Macedonian state news agency MIA reported, citing UKs Prince Michael of Kent. The agricultural fund will also cover Kosovo and Albania, while the investment fund will be focused exclusively on Macedonia. The agricultural fund will launch operations in several months. He also said, that a new call centre will be opened, which they hope will create around 150 jobs in the next six months. He added that there is also interest in a joint venture in Macedonias ski centres. Those new business opportunities are the result of a several-day visit to Macedonia of a British business delegation led by Prince Michael of Kent.
