Total retail sales and services increased 25.1% y/y in January-October.

Vietnam's total retail sales and services increased 25.1% y/y and reached VND 1,282trn during the first ten months of this year. As reported by Xinhua News Agency, according to data released by the General Statistics Office, retail sales in trade increased 25.5% y/y, and hotel and restaurant sector climbed up 21.6% in the period. The country's retail sales are forecast to be about VND 136.26trn in October.
