Thai currency appreciation not considered serious.

According to news agency Reuters , a government spokesman stated recently that according to the Bank of Thailand, the recent appreciation of the Baht was moderate in comparison to other regional currencies. As such, the appreciation was not a matter of serious concern. The spokesman was briefing reporters after a meeting of economic ministers and central bank officials.
