Slovenia backs Albania’s EU integration prospects.

Slovenia fully supports Albanias EU integration process, Slovenian parliament speaker Pavel Gantar said at a joint news conference with his Albanian peer Jozefina Topalli in Tirana. Gantar highlighted that the Slovenian government would back Albania in the process of achieving an EU candidate country status, news agency Albania Daily News reported. Moreover, the EU member pledged to provide technical support for approximation of the Albanian legislation and the implementation of major reforms. The two officials also agreed to lay the foundations of close cooperation between the parliaments of their countries.
