Serbia scraps visas for Albanian citizens.

By bne IntelliNews December 2, 2010
Serbian government has decided on Nov 26 to liberalise the visa regime for Albanians, Balkanweb reported. The decision entered in force at the end November following publication in the Official Gazette of Serbia. We note that Serbian authorities have made the decision soon after the EU eased the visa regime for Albanian citizens on Nov 8. Albania has already granted free-visa regime for Serbian citizens. The two countries have made significant progress in political and economic relations ever since PM and former foreign minister Ilir Meta and his Serbian counterpart Vuk Jeremic signed a protocol for bilateral cooperation in March.
