Sales revenues of Macedonian food company Vitaminka up 4.4% y/y in H1 2012.

The sales revenues of food manufacturer Vitaminka increased by 4.4% y/y to MKD 675.8mn (EUR 11mn) in H1, according to the income statement published on the website of the Macedonian Stock Exchange. Over the period, revenues from the domestic market expanded by 9.6% y/y to MKD 431.9mn, while revenues from foreign markets contracted by 3.8% y/y to MKD 243.9mn. The companys operating profit doubled on the year to MKD 42.5mn in H1. Net profit went up by 75% y/y to MKD 35mn over the period. Total assets of the food company stood at MKD 1.02bn at end-June, and the equity amounted to MKD 644mn. Vitaminka is based in the city of Prilep.
