Russia ready to invest into join projects with Ukraine.

Russia is prepared to invest into joint with Ukraine projects in the energy sector, transport sector, and aerospace industry, reads a statement by the press service of the government. To note, on Apr 27 parliament ratified agreements prolonging the base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Ukraine until 2042 and pegging the rent for the base to the gas price for Ukraine . The agreements was signed in Kharkiv on Apr 21, 2010. Azarov and Putin noted that the ratification of the agreements represents the shift of the bilateral relations from the confrontation to the constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation. Russia also proposed Ukraine to jointly complete the the Dniester Pumped-Storage Power Plant in Chernivtsi region. According to the draft agreement, Russia wants to take part in the construction of 2-7th hydraulic unit of the Dniester Pumped-Storage Power Plant. Russia also proposed to conclude an agreement on measures securing parallel work of the energy systems of Ukraine and Russia on the base of the interstate trade in electricity. The draft agreement envisages joint realization of investment projects on supplies of electricity to third countries and realization of joint projects in energy efficiency.
