Russia moves 4 places in WB Doing Business.

In the World Banks 2012 Doing Business rankings, Russia advanced 4 places for the first time in eight years, having a 120th rank out of 183 countries populating the index. Out of BRIC countries China had a higher ranking of 91st (down from 87th), while Brazil had 126th (down from 120th) and India 132nd (up from 139th). WB notes four reforms favourable for business, which include lower tariffs on electric grid access, easier property registration procedure, less exports/imports related red-tape and easier access to electronic databases. In some categories Russias ranking remain low, such as investor protection and conditions for opening a business (111th), obtaining construction permits (178th), and access to electric grids (183rd).
