Russia 95th in Economic Freedom Ranking.

In the Economic Freedom of the World index compiled by the Fraser Institute, Russia took 95th place. To compare, Brazil is ranked 105th, China 107th, and India 111th, while Germany, France and Italy are ranked 31st, 47th and 83rd. Russia's ranking remains unchanged since 2005. In the five areas in analysis Russia's scores were: 50th in terms of the size of the government, 92nd in terms of legal system and property rights, 65th in terms of sound money, 91st in freedom to trade internationally, and 96th in the area of regulation.
