RRC Poland expects servers sales rising in 2010.

By bne IntelliNews March 22, 2010
The sales of servers in Poland in 2010, should rise mainly due to increasing of orders from the public sector, as the distributor of advanced IT systems RRC Polska has estimated. In 2009, companies in Poland purchased over 43.000 servers. By mid-Mar, servers sales by RRC Poland reached 30% of the whole sales in 2009. The orders level showed that RRC Poland will realize over 50% of the last year sales in the whole Q1/2010, the firm said. According to IDC, the value of the Polish market servers amounted to USD 212mn last year (USD 108mn less than a year earlier). Experts deem that the reason of weak results was the decreasing number of orders in the public sector. ISB
