Poland takes over UEs presidency.

Poland takes over rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union for the first time in history on Friday. Poland intends to finalise Croatia's EU accession, start membership talks with Serbia and clinch a trade deal with Ukraine. PM Donald Tusk also declared that Poland wants promote deeper energy and military cooperation within the UE. Polish PM also declared that Poland would take responsibility in helping the European Union out of its sovereign debt crisis. We have taken the presidency at a difficult time. The debt crisis in the eurozone is continuing, and Greece is a prime example," said Tusk at press conference.
