The top priorities of Poland's presidency in the European Union (due in H2/2011) are as follows: the European integration as a source of economic growth, the EU's new budget, increasing the food and energy security of Europe, continuing the EU's enlargement as well as strengthening the EU's neighbouring policy, according to the presidency's programme passed by the Polish cabinet. PM Donald Tusk stressed that during its six-month presidency, Poland would also deal with all the current challenges by means of co-managing "serious crises that now beset the world."
