Nissan Turkey targets 3% domestic share in medium term.

Nissan Turkey announces that it increased its domestic market share to 2.74% in April by selling 2,145 units of vehicles and targets to reach 3% market share in the medium term. The company also increased its sales by 127% y/y (higher than the 78% y/y expansion of local automotive market) in Q1 and increased its domestic market share to 2.3% from 1.8% in Q1 2010. General Manager of the company, Iklim Sancaktaroglu, says that the company also increased its total sales by 107% y/y to 15,597 units in the fiscal year of April 2009 March 2010 from 7,542 in the previous fiscal year.
