Macedonias foreign reserves down 0.3% m/m at end-February 2012.

The gross foreign reserves managed by the central bank edged down by 0.3% m/m to EUR 2,061.8mn at end-February, according to data of the central bank. The latest monthly decrease is wider than 0.1% m/m recorded at end-January. In annual terms, the reserve stock increased by 21.1% at the end of last month, the same y/y gain as the one reported at end-January. We estimate that the reserve coverage currently exceeds four months of 2012 imports of goods and services.
