Macedonian-Czech business council established.

The economic chambers of Macedonia and the Czech Republic signed an agreement, establishing a Macedonian-Czech Business Council. The presidents of the two countries, Gjorge Ivanov and Vaclav Klaus, asked the companies in their respective countries to boost the bilateral economic relations. According to the statistics institute, the foreign trade between the two countries generated USD 61mn with imports to Macedonia standing at USD 51mn and exports at USD 9mn.
