Macedonian construction firm Beton wins EUR 9.9mn government contract.

Construction company Beton has been awarded a government contract for building a two-level parking garage in the centre of Skopje, Tenders Electronic Daily reported. The deal is worth EUR 9.9mn. There were two offers for the project. The available area for construction is 10,885 sqm, the notice informs. The sales revenues of Beton increased by 1.8% y/y to MKD 977.4mn (EUR 15.9mn) in H1. The pre-tax profit grew by 11% to MKD 36.1mn over the period. The companys total assets stood at MKD 3.12bn at end-June, and the equity amounted to MKD 1.95bn.
