Macedonia's GDP per capita at 35% of 2009 EU average GDP.

Macedonias GDP per capita correspond to 35% of the average for the EU, putting the country behind all EU member states, Eurostat data for 2009 showed. On a regional scale, Croatia (64%), Montenegro (43%) and Serbia (37%) performed better, while Bosnia and Herzegovina (30%) and Albania (27%) ranked worse than Macedonia. The EU member states results showed from 41% to 268% of the bloca average GDP per capita.
