Macedonia's central government debt up by 10.8% ytd as at end-May 2011.

The stock of Macedonia's central government (consolidated) debt increased by 10.8% ytd to EUR 1.896bn as at end-May, according finance ministry data. This amount corresponds to 25.8% of the projected full-year GDP. The external central government debt rose by 17.6% ytd to EUR 1.381bn as at end-May, while the domestic central government debt dropped by 4% ytd to EUR 515.2mn.
