Macedonia receives EUR 21.4mn from EU for social, regional development.

Macedonia signed with the EU three agreements worth EUR 21.4mn for support within the IPA pre-accession programme. One of the agreements worth EUR 19.1mn.concerns the development of human resources and improvement of the social sphere. The remaining two target the countrys co-operation with Greece and Albania with the financial support standing at EUR 1.3mn and EUR 1mn, respectively. The cross-border co-operation programme will distribute the funds among municipalities, NGOs and the business.
